Whipped Coffee

Whipped coffee has gone viral thanks to Tik Tok. What is whipped coffee you ask? It's a fluffy coffee concoction you put over milk and mix. It's quite delicious but I decided to play with the recipe and the results were absolutely amazing. This is my recipe for whipped coffee on steroids.

Ingredients

  • Instant coffee

  • Granulated sugar

  • Water

  • Starbucks Toffee Nut Creamer

  • 2% milk

  • Espresso

This recipe will make one serving. You can easily double, triple and so forth. If you have left over whip, you can refrigerate it or use it in a baking recipe.

Step 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Instant Coffee

Any instant coffee will do. I used Kroger brand. Put in a bowl.

Step 2 - 1 Tablespoon of Granulated Sugar

You can use Splenda, Truvia, etc. Put in same bowl with the instant coffee.

Step 3 - 2 Tablespoons of hot water

I used tap water. Add to instant coffee and sugar mixture. Can add additional water if mixture is too dry.

Step 4 - Mix

Mix the instant coffee, sugar and water. You can use a mixer or whisk it yourself. If you whisk it, whisk until your arms fall off or for two years, whichever happens first.

The mixture should look like this. Fluffy and light brown.

Step 5 - Fill the glass with ice then 1/4 of the way with creamer

You can use any creamer of your choice. I used Starbucks Toffee Nut Creamer. You can also skip and just do milk.

Step 6 - Fill the glass to the half way point with milk.

I used 2%, however, you can use any type of milk. Soy, skim, oat milk, etc.

Step 7 - Add a shot of espresso

This step is optional but if you want a stronger coffee, you'll want to add this.

The espresso will float on top of the milk.

Step 8 - Spoon whipped coffee mixture on top of glass

It's that's simple. Just spoon your desired amount on top of the milk mixture.

Ta-da!

Ta-da!

Now just stir until it's mixed up and enjoy. I prefer to drink mine with a metal straw.

Cheers!
